Deadline for Cultural Tourism Advancement Grant 
The deadline to apply for the Cultural Tourism Advancement Grant is TODAY, July 9. Potential grants can be cultural, informational, recreational, or artistic. Applicants may request up to $50,000. Watch the June 15 information session & submit an application at VisitChattanooga.com/CTAGrant. 

Latest Travel Research 
The number of visitors to Chattanooga in 2021 is up 70% over 2020 and 18% over 2019 through May. Top 10 origin markets for visitors in 2021: Atlanta (15%), Nashville (12%), Knoxville (6%), Birmingham (5%), Huntsville (4%), Chicago (3%), Memphis (2%), Tri-Cities (2%), Tampa (2%), & Orlando (2%). The strongest growth in travel is from visitors originating from markets 250+ miles from Chattanooga. Source: Arrivalist

Live Music is Back! Summer Series 

  • TN Department of Tourist Development approached Chattanooga Tourism Co. with funding and allowed us to develop a package with our partners and we collaboratively created the Live Music is Back Summer Series.

  • Recently held a Familiarization Tour for 14 Welcome Center staff from across the state; visited attractions in Chattanooga to get familiar with the destination.
